The Almrauschhütte is owned by the Skiregion Aflenz Bürgeralm Bergbahnen GmbH & Co KG.
The Almrauschhütte was built over a three-month period in autumn 2009. It is positioned at an altitude of 1,510 m right beside the base station of the 3-person chairlift just a few steps from the car park. The 110 sq m hut, featuring an environmentally-friendly central heating pellet stove, provides seating room for 35 guests, with a further 10 places available at the bar. The sun terrace is 110 sq m in size and can host between 60 and 80 persons.
The hut was built to fit in with the natural landscape, featuring an exterior of authentic alpine character. However, inside it has been fitted out with modern day amenities and a comfortable interior for the discerning guest of today. Different varieties of wood, including antique wood for the bar, coat racks, shelves and porch window, have been used inside the hut.
